3:30pm on a Sunday, I thought we don’t need a reservation. We knew we were wrong the moment we were approaching the parking lot that’s filled to the brim.

Would you wait for 90 minutes?  The tables on the deck are used for the waiting crowds. We instead went to a Cajun restaurant Acadiana near our hotel in DC.

The roof top deck at the Liaison hotel, in DC. The water is dirty but the deck is pretty cool, and they offer one hour yoga in the morning.

A block north from Washington Court Hotel where we stayed in 2013. This DC trip we stayed at the Liaison. A block closer to the Capitol Hill. They offer an hour yoga in the morning on the pool deck.

The entrance is undergoing renovation, have to go through the restaurant Art and Soul, a pretty hot spot.

The room is nice and they offer Pillow Menu, 6 to choose from. However, I didn’t find it comfortable thus – I didn’t look.

To DC,  Cross Island to GW.  Interstate highway 95 in NJ near GW Bridge.

Park-mobile is available everywhere in DC, and there are handicap street parking spots too.

It’s on the Potomac River. Gazing out to the north, I saw the steeples of the National Cathedral, and to the northwest is Georgetown University. Looking closer, there is the Watergate hotel.

The bust of JFK is very vivid, the sculpture captured the essences of the namesake president who died young. We saw a cute murder mystery, planned for 18 month run but ended up going for 26 years. The parking is $23, far cheaper than Lincoln Center in New York.
