Not sure I’d return. The location is ok for what it costs: $350 a night with $150 cleaning fee per stay. 3.3 miles from town. Two houses away is a dock to the Big Feesh Pond. The water is bit too warm (I prefer cooler water for distance swim) – should be fine for most people.

There are three orange colored kayaks but too heavy to move down the street and trail to the dock.

Towels are left in dryer; bedsheet seemed unchanged. Not sure they should provide theses but there was no cloth detergent; no shampoo, no garbage cans, not enough tissue. There are tons of tableware, towels and bathroom tissues.

A good water to swim, although a bit too warm for me, should be ok for most people. The water is clear that I could see small fish. It’s also a good spot to watch sunset. The pond feeds into Atlantic Ocean through Alewife Creek (Drain). Cross N Sea Road to the east is the Little Fresh Pond, to watch sunrise.

A windwhirl few days in the Big Apple, Southampton, Sag Harbor and Montauk.

I haven’t been to Southampon for a few years. It’s the same old Southampton. It’s my first time to Montauk, the end of the world in this corner. Sag Harbor is lovely. I get to walk the west side in the city and discovered many new places, and proudly to say, I set a walking record of 13.4 miles (31,781 steps!!).

I haven’t been to Southampton for a long while. It seems the same to me, -:)

We’re staying at a rental 3 miles north of the downtown, an easy drive on the N Sea Road. We’ve lunch at Duck Walk. Bought Southampton White’16 (pretty good) and the semi sweet red is so so. For the settings, I’ll give the vineyards in the North Fork a notch up.

It’s two house away from the rental we had in Southampton, a great place to swim and watch sunset. To the east, there is a Little Fresh Pond. The water is clean but a bit too warm for my taste – probably just right for most people.
