A quick trip down to Tampa for a couple of nights.
Delta airline out of newly renovated (this century, as late as Dec 2021) at New York LaGuardia Airport is pretty empty. Our flight was first postponed from to 7:05am to 8:21am then delayed after boarding for 1.5 hours. The return flight is pretty full and on time.

Probably will return: a pleasant Mediterranean and Lebanese restaurant. The bar has a high ceiling and is inviting. Parking is behind the restaurant by the train track if the small lot is full. The service is good, as well as the food:
Grilled mushroom and falafel are really good. However, gyro … I’ve it better everywhere. Most disappointing thing is, one piece of the meat has dry edge: how long has it been and where was it stored?
There is a storage (?) with name tags. Looks like private liquors … the waiting staff said she doesn’t know what it is for.

Love this chain. We’ve been shopping at Total for as long as their location opened on Long Island NY – about 4 years ago.
Vivino is the app I use for the past few years and Total Wine’s price is usually comes in about or (mostly) below the App’s average price. However, today I encountered a surprise: Sobon Estate 2019 Old Vine Zinfandel $10.99 on Vivino and $16.99 charged by Total. The male wine manager at this location assured me that $16.99 is the correct price.
Oh well.
