Kravis Center
701 Okeechobee Blvd,
West Palm Beach, FL 33401

Anne-Sophie Mutter (1963-, 🐇) performs at West Palm Beach’s Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts 😎 It’s a first for her, in Florida.

Apparently she loves it – the warm temperature.

El Camino 道路

700 South Rosemary Avenue, Suite #232
West Palm Beach, FL 33401

Initially, we planed to go to City Cellar after the concert but it closes at 10pm on weekdays. So we ended up at El Camino, which opens till 1am. Thanks for feeding us.

The place is on the second floor and large. They’ve some very nice murals on the wall and the domed ceiling, and interesting tiles – look like my childhood home’s tiles.

Good wine (Daou Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 & Decoy Merlot 2019), guacamole and empanada. The chips and salsa is so so.

Their Mexican soul food (made by their Ft Lauderdale Mexcal & Tequila Bar?) red sauce is exceptionally good: light and fruitful. I stole purchased a bottle -:)

Rosemary Square

700 S Rosemary Ave
West Palm Beach, FL 33401

A lively area and the center of their downtown. To the west, is the Clear Lake and east Worth Lagoon. The Kravis Center is a five minutes walk to the east. We found a valet parking ($12) easily, by the Harriet Himmel Theater.

Harriet Himmel Theater opened in 1926, used, among other events, for weddings till 2020. Now it’s Christ Fellowship congregation.

There are plenty shops, restaurants and pop ups.

Malakor Thai Cafe

425 25th St
West Palm Beach, FL 33407

Will return.

Lush. Yummy. Good service.

Once in a blue moon, I go to Thai because I find their taste to be bit too sweet. Glad I went today.

Exterior is lush. Many handsome plants and pretty flowers. They’ve outdoor area too. We chose inside, for no apparent reason.

We’ve tried the following three dishes:

– spareribs: chewy, the sauce is good; the redness is normal
– drunken noodles – I’d call it 干炒牛河 yummy
– Laab Kai/chicken salad: good too. We asked for #2 spicy out of 5 levels, which is just right.

Singha beer is so so. The house white which is Woodbridge Chardonnay, is decent. All the veggies are crispy and fresh.

The wood carvings on the bathroom doors are similar to the pieces I just ordered from Amazon, in darker color. Albright I’ve not decided what to do with them yet will figure it out, hopefully soon.
