A theme park in Hengqin, Zhuhai in southern China. It opened in 2014, after 4 years of construction. Small and clean; bathrooms are kept neat with a/c. I enjoyed for what it’s – not a Disney, not even close. Un-overwhelming, which is a good thing from time to time.
The published rate for admission is ￥350. I paid ￥560 (US$82) for a package that includes the circus 秘境奇技 (itself cost ￥350) in the evening – the show is year around and on every night at 7:30.
I’ve lunch at 海底餐厅 (动物观赏餐厅) Ocean Beauty Restaurant @ whale shark aquarium 海洋奇观 after the rush hour, which is a wise choice: no crowds. Only the light music mixed with ocean waves. The diver in the Whale Shark Aquarium has time to stop by a few times. The park has two sit down restaurants (港澳餐厅) and five self serving eateries.
The parade is done by mostly Russians. One staff told me there are other westerners but they do the planing, leaving the laborious staff to the Russians.
