St. Pete Opera House uses Palladium Theater at the moment.
This opera was by Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868), premiered in 1813 in Venice. It’s about young Italian Isabella who travels to Algiers to find her missing lover, Lindoro. However, her fellow traveler Mustafá was captivated her and wanted to make her the next addition to his harem. He met his match.
In comparison, Sarasota‘s Opera House is far better.
