Old world charm. Elderly portly waiters provide excellent (and witty) service. Extensive wine menu. Great steak. The Palm on 2nd Avenue used to be the same but ever since they add waitresses, it isn’t the same any more. Call me sexist all you want, but I prefer portly men.
Their menu is in a frame, very cute. We have
- Silver Oak 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon
- An assortment of breads
- Old-Fashioned Wedge (two slices of beefsteak tomato)
- Porterhouse
- French fries
- Jumbo Asparagus
