Lincoln Center 林肯中心

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
Lincoln Center Plaza
New York, NY 10023

This complex of buildings on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is known simply as Lincoln Center. It sits on a 16.3-acre (6.6-hectare) land, has thirty indoor and outdoor facilities, and receives about 5 million visitors annually.

It’s a stone throw away from Carnegie Hall. I go to both venues often.

A cold New York night, with a hot maestro. page
The conductor’s portrait on the Play Bill must have taken some years ago, bec on stage, his hair is all white.

At the bottom of the ticket, it prints:

Christoph Von Dohnanyi’s appears through the Daisy and Paul Soros Endowment Fund.

Not sure what to make of this: the Soros fund paid for his trip/appearance?
