Mozart @ Mahafrey
2024’s first concert was at Mahaffey Theater. Mozart’s violin concerto #4 is the big draw. But I enjoyed Italian composers Ottorino Respighi (1879-1936) Fontane di Roma (Fountains of Rome) too. The dreamy opening is beautiful, and fills the symphony hall with spring, the chirping birds and blooming flowers. A great way to close out our day, the first Saturday of the year.
